Medicare Advantage Call Script: When making phone contact with clients that have returned a mail response card, agents should have a Medicare Advantage Call Script handy. A script should be short and to the point. The entire purpose of the call is to get an appointment and pre-qualify the prospect. There should be no attempt to educate on the products during the call. Keep in mind that you may use this scrip to call MAPD and PDP prospects that have returned a mail reply card. You can not cold call MAPD and PDP prospects off a cold call list. It is also important to have a script for rebuttals. This tool will help you avoid unanswered client questions. As a matter of fact, there are 4 or 5 common things a prospect will say to get you off the phone. If you are prepared you can work through these things. That can make a big difference when you are trying to make appointments.
