Agent Contracting Kit
Agents can use our contracting kit to access 100’s of Life, Health, Medicare, Long Term Care, Annuity, Dental and Vision carriers. Simply fill out the contracting forms. Select the carriers you want to contract with and either fax, mail or email them back to us. Our email address is [email protected] our fax is 203-567-6235. Please include a copy of your insurance license in the states you are going to write and your, E and O certificate. We also need an AHIP certificate, if you are choosing any Medicare Advantage carriers. (Other than UHC which does not require AHIP) We will enter the information from the contracting forms that you submit into our online contracting system. This will allow you to select additional carriers at any time without the need to fill out additional paperwork.
Certain carriers are more strict about backgrounds/histories than others. Before you start your contracting, It will be for the best if you disclose any background issues that you have. You should also provide any documents you have available that pertain to these issues. This will make it easier to either resolve or address any issues. Prospective agents who have tax liens or other liabilities will need to show that the issue has either been resolved or is in the process of being addressed. For example, an agent that owes money to the IRS but has set up a payment plan would not have issues obtaining a contract. However, if you owe money to the IRS and there is nothing in place to resolve the issue, some carriers will not be willing to provide a contract.
