Medicare Contracting for Advantage and Supplement Plans
Crowe and Associates is an FMO with a large number of Medicare providers that offer Medicare contracting for not only advantage but also supplement plans to agents. Of course, based on an agent’s location and licensing, he/she should become appointed to sell multiple company products. The product provider will process Medicare contracts individually. For example, an agent wanting to market both Aetna and Wellcare products, he/she must become contracted with both companies. Although most companies can receive contracts with use of the contracting website SureLC, some companies have specific site instructions. The list below identifies Medicare providers and contracting instructions.
Equally important, Medicare contracting for advantage and supplemental plans requires errors and omissions (E&O) liability insurance. If you do not already have E&O insurance, click here to learn how to purchase a policy from Crowe and Associates.
