Medicare Contracting with Wellcare
Medicare contracting with Wellcare is an online process.
In order to complete the contracting process, individuals must hold a valid, state issued health insurance license, have an active E&O policy in effect hand have completed the latest AHIP Medicare training with a score of 90% or higher. You must submit AHIP transcripts to Wellcare through the AHIP website.
Click here to access Wellcare’s Contracting for New Agents page. IMPORTANT- Under the hierarch section, you need to change the upline name to Crowe and Associates and the Upline PID needs to be changed to 301127.
You must complete the contract by entering the required information through the portal. After the contract is complete a unique WellCare University login will be emailed to the agent within 5 business days. Wellcare then requires you to sign in to wellcare.csod.com. Once you sign in you must complete both the WellCare’s online Agent Certification Training (ACT) and the iCare training. Wellcare will allow each agent up to three attempts to pass the final exam. Agents need to score 90% or better, in order to pass the final exam and gain certification.
Once you have completed the contracting process you will upload the AHIP and ACT transcripts. WellCare will then conduct a background and licensure check. Agents who successfully complete all requirements and pass background and license check will receive an email from WellCare stating that they are certified to sell. That email will include the agent’s WellCare Producer ID.
