Cigna Medicare Supplement Contracting
We offer Cigna Medicare Supplement Contracting to licensed health insurance agents.
These plans offer huge commissions. Comp for all plans except the High deductible F is 20% for the first 6 years year, 10% years 7-10 and 2% 11+. The high F plan pays a comp of 26% for the first 6 years, 16% years 7-10 and 5% years 11+. Cigna pays commissions directly to the agents. The high F plan has strong pricing in most northern states with a premium in the $50 to $75 a month range. (depending on the state) They are also very well pricing on the plan G. Plan G supplement is similar to the plan F with one difference. It does not cover the part B deductible and plan F does.
Underwriting
Cigna has standard underwriting outside of GI periods. This only applies to states that allow underwriting. States such as CT, NY and some other do not allow medical underwriting at any time. Cigna will track the claims on the high deductible plan. The member will not need to submit bills or receipts. They also will not be required to track claims to determine if they hit the $2,180 deductible. Once $2,180 is hit they will be covered as they would on a normal Plan F. Medicare A and B will provide coverage to the client. The cost share from A and B is all the client will need to pay. That amount will then go toward the deductible. The cost share of Medicare A and B is based on the negotiated cost from Medicare. It is not what the provider charges.
