United American High Deductible F Plan
The United American high deductible F Plan is a very low cost Medicare supplement plan. This Plan is available in most states, including NY.
The high deductible F Medicare supplement plan has a cost of $58.00 per month in CT. Likewise, the plan premium for NY is $62.00 a month. This is a great option to offer clients that may want to try a lower cost supplement but still do not want the out of pocket exposure of a Plan K supplement. Although, the High F Plan has an annual deductible of $2180 a year. In short, this is not a true deductible. In fact, the client only pays what Medicare does not cover toward the cost of the $2,180. As a result, most clients never hit the deductible.
The plan uses the name United American in Connecticut, although it uses the name First United American in NY. They also have accidental death, cancer and whole life plans in both states.
