Because so many clients have asked for Dental coverage, we added NationalCare Dental to our product offerings. This dental program is underwritten by Nationwide Insurance. We all know Nationwide is a respected insurance carrier with many years in the insurance industry.
This product offers three different levels of coverage.
Your clients will like these plans because; they provide a higher coverage amount than most other traditional dental insurance plans.
The levels of coverage with this plan are the 1500 and 3000 as well as 3000 + 2000 additional buy up. Many plans only offer coverage limits up to $1500 or $2000. This plan gives that extra amount of protection that is always a great idea due to the high cost of dental services. Members do not have to wait for coverage to begin, they can have their plans start any day between the 1st of the month and the 28th.

Plan benefits highlights and rates:
- $50 annual deductible per person
- Preventive (100%)
- Routine Exam (1 every 6 months)
- Bitewing X-rays (1 every 6 months)
- Cleaning (2 in 12 months)
- Fluoride for children 19 & under (1 in 12 months)
- Basic (80% no waiting period)
- Full mouth/Panoramic X-rays (1 in 3 years)
- Sealants (ages 6 through 16)
- Restorative Amalgams
- Simple Extractions
- Major Care (50% with 12 month waiting period*)
- Waiting period waived with prior coverage
- Space Maintainers
- Onlays
- Implants
- Crowns (one in 10 years per tooth)

National offers street level agents a 17% commission rate on this product. If you have 5 sub agents, you qualify as a GA and your commission rate goes up to 19%. To qualify as an SGA all you need are 10 sub agents and this will bring your commission level up to 21%. Additionally, the commissions for these plans is paid daily.

Please note: With most dental insurance plans, there is a waiting period before major services are covered. These plans will waive that waiting period for major services if the member provides proof of prior coverage. Proof of prior coverage must be provided within 30 days of the member’s plan effective date. The member must have had 12 months of full and continuous coverage that shows no lapses. Forms of acceptable prior coverage does not include DHMO, discount or scheduled plan coverage.
