You will notice we have not included any type of annuity using a risk control index such as either the S & P risk control 5% or 10%, Morgan Stanley Dynamic index, BNP Paribus, etc… In fact, We are also not showing annuities that use a 2 year or greater point to point strategies. In fact, our experience with risk controlled indexes has not been very positive. These indexes have had a very low return yield in the past 5 years. Also, the 2 year or greater point to point strategy makes it very hard for clients to understand why there is not interest credit after the first year.

PTE 84-24 Disclosure and Acknowledgment Form for IRA Annuity Purchase
Starting June 9th through Dec 31st agent will be required to complete the PTE 84-24 form when selling fixed/index annuities using qualified money.
Although this form Does NOT need to be sent to any company, the agent must put it in the client file and hold for 6 yrs.
Additionally, the agent must put their commission % on form.
