Aetna Medicare Connecticut

Aetna has one of the better MAPD plans in Connecticut.  The copays are lower than their competitors, the new work is national and the plan is administered well.  While the plan looks great on paper it was not a good option for people living in and around New Haven.Aetna has not had a contract with New Haven Hospital.  This means that anyone in the Aetna HMO Value and Standard plan would not be able to utilize the hospital unless it was due to an emergency.  Luckily, Aetna has now announced that they have come to an agreement with New Haven Hospital.  The hospital will now be in network for those that have the Aetna plan.  It now makes Aetna the best looking MAPD offer for New Haven residents.
